Dark fantasy in the vein of “The Hobbit” meets “Stranger Things.” LOG LINE: A bullied kid becomes an unlikely hero when he leads a group of child warriors to fight the Wiggle Man, a demonic inter-dimensional entity with an army of monsters abducting children into the dark world of the Shadowlands. DESCRIPTION: SOME DOORS SHOULD NEVER BE OPENED… When thirteen kids go missing, including his younger sister, Bobby Jared is determined to find and rescue her. Joe Whiteeagle, a mute Native-American, is accused of the kidnappings. Not believing in Joe’s guilt, Bobby continues his search and discovers the truth—to rescue his sister, he must brave the realm of “The Shadowlands.” But once inside, Bobby is lost in a maze of booby-trapped doors and rooms, all leading to The Wiggle Man—the terrifying ruler of the Shadowlands. Escaping several perils, Bobby rescues the children and is relieved the threat is over, until Joe tells him hundreds of other children are still trapped inside, and their time is running out. Bobby returns to the Shadowlands with Joe’s help, accompanied by a dozen brave child warriors known as “The Shadowlanders,” an army of crows and wolves, a crazy old flying hag, and a human/demon hybrid. Can the Shadowlanders escape the evil monsters they encounter in time to save the children? And will they succeed in destroying the Wiggle Man and closing the door between worlds forever?
